Although widely known as Digital Video Disc, DVD is also called Digital Versatile Disc for its ability to handle many formats. There are, of course, the digital videos which many consumers have come to know and enjoy in their own homes, which offer exceptional picture quality and sound. But there is also a pure DVD-Audio format, allowing high-density audio playback with truly amazing audiophile quality sound. And there is DVD-ROM, allowing computers to read tremendous amounts of data off a single disc.

While a Red-Book compliant CD can hold up to 650 Megabytes of information, a single-sided single-layer DVD holds up to 4.7 Gigabytes! And using the double-layer and double-side capabilities of DVD, an amazing 17 Gigabytes of capacity can be reached.

We can accept DVD masters on Digital Linear Tape (DLT), or on a properly formatted DVD-R. Or you can provide us with your raw video/audio/data source, and we can have it authored for you.
