NASHVILLE, TN — Still recovering from SoundLand? Not to worry, this weekend offers a bountiful plate of shows for the Nashville audiophile. For our money, your best bet is the Independent Music Fest. The event is located at several venues on and around Music Row. It will take place from September 30 – October 2nd.

Billed as three festivals in one, Indie Music Fest offers a band for every type of listener. Five stages featuring three full days of music from more than 100 independent artists. Single-day passes to all shows cost $10 and may be purchased via the festival website, HERE. With this much fun, who can afford to  stay indoors this weekend. Best Western, Tin Roof, Red Rooster, Otter’s Chicken & Brew and Mirko Pasta & Wine will serve as the collective hosts of the festival.

We plan to get our groove on at the National Media Group stage at Red Rooster. This venue will be part of Indie Music Fest on Friday and Saturday only. For a schedule of performance times and a full lineup click HERE. After Saturday night’s shows, a masquerade ball will be held at the Music Row Best Western from 9 PM until Midnight.
