Digital Bin

World Media Group was the first duplicator in the United States to install the Gauss Max high-speed solid-state audio digital bin mastering system. Digital bin technology allows us to consistently create high-quality cassettes with extended dynamic range. Digital mastering ensures that the first cassette will sound like the second cassette, which will sound like the millionth cassette -- crystal clear and quiet. Masters are created on our custom Digital Audio Workstation, and stored on CD-ROM as .WAV files for foolproof error correction.

Duplication

Our audio cassettes are duplicated using the highest quality BASF chrome tape, or ferric at your request. Using multiple "Slave" recorders, carefully maintained and aligned by experienced technicians, and using technologies such as HX-PRO (which improves headroom of high frequencies), sound is recorded onto the bulk "pancakes" of tape.

Loading and Packaging

These "pancakes" of tape are then loaded into individual shells, which are then printed and packaged to your specifications under strict quality control procedures. We offer a variety of packaging options, from the standard "Norelco" box, to "Book On Tape" packaging, to more exotic and creative options.
